The Bonneville Fish Hatchery

The Fish Hatchery at Bonneville Dam

The Egg Building...I liked the Tree..the grounds are so beautiful

The pathways all paved and the grass is green and the flowers are gorgeous!

We sat down in front of the fountain/pond in front of the gift shop to get a picture of the fish sculptures behind us and didn't realize that we hid them with our bodies!! Oh Well!

The trout are so BIG and very speckled and pretty...you can feed them, there is a machine there to buy fish  food  for a quarter...they gobble it up...so many of them in the long pools/

Here we are in front of the window that belongs to the pond where, Herman the Sturgeon, resides.                                                      He  does keep himself pretty hidden,
sturgeon are bottom feeders and like fresh water rivers, not small ponds.
We stopped for a pic in front of a pretty flower bed , I just seem to block all the flowers....
                                                                       what ya gonna do?
I took this pic and changed it a little so you could see the fish in the water a little better.
                                                           Jonah checking out the trout.
Josie Checking out the trout and the sturgeon model.

The trout just swimming around waiting for some body to put the quarter in the machine and feed them.
Josie was a little tired out by our walking around and found a very green lawn to rest upon.
                                                                              More Trout

Just a little rest on a stone bench...they all wanted to look relaxed!
This concludes out day at the Bonneville Fish Hatchery

The night before the 4th of July

 Snakes on the ground.
This is our upstairs neighbor helping Jonah light his sparkler, we didn't not buy any fireworks and our neighbors were so kind to share with us! The 4th was actually the next day so we got started a little early.
Here is Jonah with his mad sparkler skilss...sparlers are the perfect firework, (in my opinion)!

I can't believe I only got the one pic of Josie,
she was a little timid about holding the "fire on a stick",
but she gave it a good shot.
Here is our neighbor and her little guy,
she now has  another littler guy born on July 5th!
Me and my eldest, Amanda, isn't she pretty............
This is our end to a very fun filled day.....July 3rd, 2011

Jonah trying to give us his home boy look...gotta love freckles!
We ate lunch at  a little picnic table close by, and of course I used it for a photo opportunity!
Jonah in the "umbrella" water feature!
Here is Josie in the "water umbrella".
Josie and me, isn't she so pretty.
 Love that girls smile!
Oh yeah, they are sooooo cool........................
Chilling out and watching some classic He Man, in Josh's honor.
Father and daughter, we love our Manders
Josie and me again, I know there are a few of us but I was having so much fun trying out the fun "create features" on the Picnik, website!
