Josie's Baptism

Josie Mia, Josh's daughter, our oldest granddaughter, was baptized on Mar. 23rd.
It was a special event for a special girl. We love Josie so much!

Birthday Month

Jonah, Mandy and Josie cam to spend her birthday with us. Jonah and Josie had 2 days off of school and Mandy was off work so they drove up. Her is Jonah in the car saying goodbye. The really ad thing was Jonah got sick with the flu the first night and the next day so our plans were kind of a bust but we loved seeing each other.
Here is Josie in the car ready to head home after our breakfast at Denny's, She is such a pretty girls and so much fun!
Here is our first born! 33 on 3-3! She came into this world at 3:30 in the morning !

Here is the breakfast crew! Mandy was taking the pic!
Mandy and I had our birthdays this month. Mandy had the idea that we "girls" should all go get our toenails painted.

Here are Marji, Mandy and Marley's toes after our Peddies. Never having done this before I wore tennis shoes, so I will show you my pretty toes in a later picture!

Here is Marley, she brought her dolls along for the ride, they did not get Pedi's, if they did I would have added a picture of their toes for sure!
Marley held the camera out for this picture...quite a budding photograopher!

And here are my toes! Fred and Wilma would be proud!!

Here we are outside the Beauty College in downtown Roseburg.

School Time with Grandies

One of the highlights of going to visit the grandkids is going to school with them, either just for lunch/ recess or for the day. I do so enjoy seeing them on "their turf", meeting their teachers and fellow students.
Marley was excited to have the Snowman Project she made with her family displayed in the hall.                  Kindergarten is fun!
While I spent time with Marely, Misty spent time with Maddox...last week we switched.
Grabbed a pic during some library time.

So fun to go back and see my friends and (used to be) co-workers at East Primary, what a great place to be!

I was able this week to go and spend lunch and recess with Jonah. He is in 3rd grade and goes to a great little school in Green. We enjoyed our time together.

Tempie's Blessing Day

This is Temperance...she was blessed Labor day weekend. We love her, she was added to our family in June.

CookieMa, Poppa, Danielle, with Temperance, Michael, Myla and Payton.
Poppa and Grandma Max joined the Malaska's for a photo shoot! The girls are wearing dresses that their Grandma Malaska made for a wedding they were not able to attend due to Michaels unexpected surgery earlier in the summer.

The Bonneville Fish Hatchery

The Fish Hatchery at Bonneville Dam

The Egg Building...I liked the Tree..the grounds are so beautiful

The pathways all paved and the grass is green and the flowers are gorgeous!

We sat down in front of the fountain/pond in front of the gift shop to get a picture of the fish sculptures behind us and didn't realize that we hid them with our bodies!! Oh Well!

The trout are so BIG and very speckled and pretty...you can feed them, there is a machine there to buy fish  food  for a quarter...they gobble it up...so many of them in the long pools/

Here we are in front of the window that belongs to the pond where, Herman the Sturgeon, resides.                                                      He  does keep himself pretty hidden,
sturgeon are bottom feeders and like fresh water rivers, not small ponds.
We stopped for a pic in front of a pretty flower bed , I just seem to block all the flowers....
                                                                       what ya gonna do?
I took this pic and changed it a little so you could see the fish in the water a little better.
                                                           Jonah checking out the trout.
Josie Checking out the trout and the sturgeon model.

The trout just swimming around waiting for some body to put the quarter in the machine and feed them.
Josie was a little tired out by our walking around and found a very green lawn to rest upon.
                                                                              More Trout

Just a little rest on a stone bench...they all wanted to look relaxed!
This concludes out day at the Bonneville Fish Hatchery
